Borage Seed Oil: Borage seed has the highest concentration of gamma linoleic acid (GLA), higher than any other plant source! It's known for stimulating skin growth, reducing inflammation, promoting blood flow, maintaining hormonal balance, and fighting stress.
Grape seed Oil: Grape seed oil is rich in beta-carotene, and vitamins D, C, and E. Its anti-inflammatory properties and antioxidants help fight acne, tighten the skin, eliminate dark circles around the eyes, moisturize, reduce scars, restore collagen, and fight aging.
Hempseed Oil: Hempseed oil helps to reduce the size of pores by helping to eliminate blackheads and acne. It also protects the skin from free radicals and improves elasticity. Because of its anti-inflammatory qualities, it is often recommended for the treatment of psoriasis and eczema.
Why does this blend work for acne?
The oils in this blend are all high in linoleic acid, a special nutrient that helps regulate sebum production as well as its quality. When our skin is deficient in linoleic acid, our skin's natural sebum becomes thick and sticky which clogs pores and creates acne. Oils high in linoleic acid also have a low comedogenic rating, which means it will not clog your pores.
